Singer Bobby Kim recently announced that he plans to make his official comeback this fall through his long-time hip hop group, Buga Kingz.
Buga Kingz is a hip hop group that was formed back in 2001 and consists of members Bobby Kim, Juvie Train, and Gan-D. Some of their greatest hits include “Tic Tac Toe”, “Road Trip” and “Boy and Girl”. Unfortunately, Buga Kingz went into hiatus in June of 2008 after the release of their 3rd album, “The Menu”. All three members have been carrying out their own individual activities ever since.
But Bobby Kim’s agency announced on August 30th that the hiatus will finally be coming to an end. “Soul-ballad singer Bobby Kim will be returning as the leader of Buga Kingz, and has been preparing for their newest album. He will be opening a concert in October with Buga Kingz, where they will perform not only ballads, but also hip hop music.”
Bobby Kim, who is currently preparing for his nationwide tour, will be displaying his hip hop roots at his upcoming Seoul concert by giving a special hip hop stage. His nationwide concert, “I Am Buga Kingz’s Bobby Kim”, will kick start on October 1st in Seoul, followed by concerts in Daegu and Ulsan
